Information on the return of transport packaging (Section 15 of the Packaging Act (VerpackG))

As a responsible company, FB Ketten GmbH delivers its products exclusively using transport packaging that is necessary for safe transport. This includes, in particular, wooden pallets, stretch film and plastic film, steel strapping and cardboard boxes.

In accordance with the legal requirements of the Packaging Act (Section 15(1) VerpackG), we hereby inform our commercial customers about the existing return options for this transport packaging, as well as their purpose:

Purpose: The return scheme serves to channel used packaging materials into a closed-loop recycling system and to ensure they are recycled properly.

Return option: We accept completely empty transport packaging for goods supplied by us at our registered office/warehouse free of charge. The buyer is responsible for organising and bearing the costs of returning the packaging to us.

Practical note (alternative arrangement):

To avoid environmentally unsound return transport and to save on logistics costs, we agree with our customers, as part of our quotations and order confirmations, that the packaging waste will be properly recycled on-site via the customer’s existing operational waste disposal channels.
